Student emergency services and program initiatives - read more here >>

Science on Demand offers educational services to faculty and study abroad offices  who wish to bring a group of students to Europe, whether as an independent course or embedded international experience.

We take active part in the academic planning, participate in and arrange teaching, take care of all logistics, provide housing, meals and classroom space, arrange transport, advise students, and stand ready 24/7  to deal with emergencies.  Faculty who bring students  can concentrate on their role as teacher and mentor; we make sure  the setting is optimal for learning.

Science on Demand draws upon a vast network  in Scandinavia and throughout northern Europe to deliver high quality academic experiences for students.

Hot topics

Sustainability — scientific, economic, social and political aspects of moving toward a more sustainable planet. How do the Scandinavian countries approach these issues at the local, regional, national and European levels?

Livability — why are the Danes the "happiest" people in the world? What about the culture, politics and economic policies make that possible?

Renewable energy — Copenhagen strives to be CO2 neutral by 2025. The Island of Samsø will be fossil-free by 2030.  Denmark pledges 40% carbon reduction by 2020. These policies require political courage, research investments and innovations, and considerable social will. Why and how is Denmark able to do this?

Culture in context  film, design, literature or art studies, in the context of the Scandinavian lifestyle, urban and rural communities, nationalism, diversity and much more.
